Janice's
Travels are one way in which she educates
herself as well as her clients.
In this area I will give you a little information
about myself and how I became a travel agent.
First of all let me tell you a little about my
family. My husband,
Joe, and I have been married for 34
years and more in love than ever. We have 2
daughters, I guess I shouldn’t give you their ages
but since we have been
 married
for 34 years and didn’t start having children until
we were married for 4 years you can get an idea of
how old they are. Our oldest ,
Jennifer is married and is living
close to us, our youngest daughter,
Janessa, lives about 30 miles from us.
Both my daughters and my husband help me in my
business hence the name
J's-R-Us
Travel . We also have a young man,
Michael, who I call our adopted son. He helps me
with all my computer needs and has designed both of
my websites,
jsrus.com and this site

 I
got started in this business around 8 years ago when
I joined a company that sold travel and taught you
how to become a travel agent. At the time I was a
Middle School Secretary for Modesto Christian
Schools and would work the travel part time. After
about 4 years of building my business, with the help
of friend and family and attending several Seminars,
Conventions and taking FAM trips, I was getting
business enough to retire from my job. I started
working fulltime out of my home as an Independent
Travel Agent.
Through the years I have continued my travel
education by becoming Certified Specialists in
several destinations and cruise lines. The two
certifications that I am most proud of are my Disney
College of Knowledge and my ACC, Accredited Cruise
Counselor, with CLIA. Your can

Michael has designed this website so that you can
view some of my FAM trips which have helped with my
certifications. Please check back often as we are
continuing to add more of my past destinations and
site inspections and my new travels and journeys.
This site has been designed for you to view,
