After our night at The Fairmont Royal York in Toronto we walked across the street to board Via Rail and found our sleeping compartments. I had a single compartment where the bed was pulled out from under the neighboring compartment for sleeping at night.

I really enjoyed the "experience" of rail travel. We had our own "Rail Director" (similar to a Cruise Director) who was very knowledgeable about the areas we were traveling through. From Wine Tasting  to Movie Night, to the wonderful food, it was all an experience I will never forget.
