Another great
experience was to walk on a glacier! The Columbia Icefield
is located on the boundary of Banff and Jasper National
Parks and is one of the largest accumulations of ice and
snow south of the Arctic Circle.
We rode a Snocoach to
the middle of the Athabasca Glacier where we were able to
walk around. If you look closely you will see two
different avalanches in the pictures.
